- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, diced onion, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape mixture into 6–8 oval patties and set aside.
- In an oven-safe skillet over medium heat, brown patties for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions in butter until softened. Add flour and stir for about 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in beef broth and heavy cream until smooth.
- Return browned patties to the skillet, cover tightly with a lid or foil, and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
