  • 1 pound large shrimp (deveined, tail removed)
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak (cubed)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  2. Season shrimp with blackened seasoning and sauté in oil until pink. Set aside.
  3. Season cubed steak with blackened seasoning and sear until browned; remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté onions and garlic, then stir in cream and parmesan until smooth.
  5. Add cooked shrimp and steak back to the skillet along with pasta; combine until well coated.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
