Instructions

  3. Whisk together dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine chilled brown butter with dark brown sugar until clumpy; then mix in egg yolk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
