  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoon cake flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter (melted and cooled)
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Cream together unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together cake flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients. Chill dough for one hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare cinnamon filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cake flour until smooth.
  4. Scoop chilled dough and create wells for the filling. Roll filling into balls and place inside the wells before sealing with more dough.
  5. Bake for 11-13 minutes until lightly golden. Cool on baking sheets before glazing.
