  • 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine
  • 2 chicken breasts (cut into 1" pieces)
  • 1/2 pound shrimp (31/40 size, thawed & peeled)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Cajun seasoning
  • garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Soften cream cheese at room temperature or microwave for 20 seconds.
  2. Boil salted water, add fettuccine, and cook until al dente.
  3. Prepare chicken and shrimp; season with garlic powder and Cajun seasoning.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat; cook shrimp for about 3 minutes, then set aside.
  5. Cook chicken in the same skillet until browned and cooked through (5-6 minutes); set aside with shrimp.
  6. Remove skillet from heat; add butter, cream, cream cheese, remaining seasoning, and garlic. Return to medium heat until combined.
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese; add chicken and shrimp back to the skillet. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Toss drained fettuccine with sauce; serve immediately garnished with parsley or lemon juice.
