  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup white wine (or chicken stock)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Fresh parsley and grated parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and 3 Tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
  2. Add the minced garlic; sauté until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in white wine (or chicken stock) to deglaze the pan.
  4. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning; cook for about 3-5 minutes until shrimp are pink.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and remaining Tbsp of butter until smooth.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
  7. Simmer for an additional minute before serving.
  8. Garnish with parsley and parmesan as desired.
