  • 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage, thinly sliced
  • 2 lbs potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the smoked sausage slices until fully cooked; set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine diced potatoes with cooked sausage, sautéed onion, garlic, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until top is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
