  • 2 cups shiitake mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 cup Chinese cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 cup carrots (julienned)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Marinate the chicken in soy sauce, ginger, and garlic for flavor.
  4. Heat olive oil in a wok and stir-fry the marinated chicken until browned.
  5. Add more olive oil to the wok and stir-fry the vegetables until tender.
  6. Combine cooked chicken, drained noodles, and sauce in the wok; toss until evenly coated.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving hot.
