Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. In a skillet over medium heat, melt half the butter and cook chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter over medium heat. Add garlic, parsley, thyme, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper; sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice. Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in sauce. Slice the rested chicken and place on top of the linguine.
