Description

Creamy Oven Baked Chicken Thighs are a comforting and flavorful dish that transforms simple ingredients into a delicious family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Season the chicken thighs with seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  3. In an oven-proof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sear the chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add chopped garlic and sauté briefly before whisking in flour to create a roux.
  6. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring, followed by heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, coating it with the sauce.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
