  • 1 pound rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cans (15-ounce) Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 14 ½ ounces chicken broth
  • 2 cans diced green chiles (4-ounce cans)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion and garlic powder until onions are translucent (about 5 minutes).
  2. Stir in shredded chicken, drained beans, chicken broth, diced green chiles, salt, oregano, cumin, pepper, and cayenne. Bring to a boil.

  4. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and heavy whipping cream until well combined.
