  • 5-pound pork shoulder roast
  • 2 large sweet onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons McCormick Grill Mates Roasted Garlic & Herb Seasoning Mix
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Grease a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray and layer sliced onions at the bottom.
  2. Pat the pork roast dry and rub it with the seasoning mix and salt.
  3. Place the seasoned roast on top of the onions and pour chicken broth around it.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 6-7 hours or LOW for 9-10 hours until fork-tender.
  5. Remove from the cooker, let rest for 10 minutes, then shred using forks.
