  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 large yellow onion (chopped)
  • 2 packages mild taco seasoning
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can petite diced tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chilies (mild)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large bag Doritos nacho cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded Jack cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and spray a 9X13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, green chilies, sour cream, and cream of mushroom soup; heat through.
  4. Layer one-third of crushed Doritos in the prepared baking dish, add half the beef mixture on top, then another third of Doritos followed by the remaining beef mixture. Finish with the last third of Doritos and sprinkle both types of cheese evenly on top.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
