  • 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • ¼ Korean pear
  • 1 stalk green onion
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ inch ginger
  • Optional: 1 tbsp gochujang for spice

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, avocado oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add gochujang if desired and whisk until well mixed.
  2. Coat the chicken thighs in the marinade and let them rest covered in the fridge for at least 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer or grill. Cook the marinated chicken for about 10 minutes on each side until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Let the chicken rest briefly before slicing and serving with Korean pear and green onion on top.
