Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1 (15 oz) can corn, drained
- 1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can chili beans in chili sauce
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz) can chopped green chiles
- Spices: chili powder, cumin, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot; sauté until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in broth, corn, black beans, chili beans, crushed tomatoes, and green chiles until combined.
- Season with chili powder, cumin, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
