Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 pound large Florida shrimp, peeled and chopped

- ½ cup celery, finely chopped
- ½ cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- ½ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan and crimp the edges. Prick the bottom with a fork and brush with egg wash. Pre-bake for about 10 minutes.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat; sauté onions, celery, and bell peppers for about 4 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and spices; cook for an additional minute.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 2-3 minutes). Remove from heat.
- In the same skillet, whisk in flour; gradually add cream and milk until thickened.
