  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and Minute rice; stir until mixed well.
  4. Pour the rice mixture into the prepared baking pan. Place chicken breasts evenly on top.
  5. Sprinkle Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken.
  6. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 to 1½ hours, or until chicken is fully cooked.
  7. For an optional cheesy finish, uncover and add shredded cheese during the last 10 minutes.
