Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- 2⅔ cups unsalted chicken broth
- 1 cube chicken bouillon
- 6 Tbsp butter
- ½ lemon (juiced)
- lemon zest
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp fresh chives
- ¼ tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- salt and black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425ºF and spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In the prepared dish, combine uncooked rice, chicken broth, bouillon cube, butter, lemon juice and zest, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, paprika, cayenne pepper, Worcestershire sauce, herbs, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and stir gently. Bake uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes until the rice is tender.
