  • 12 oz package of King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • 16 oz thinly sliced deli ham
  • 78 oz sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Poppy seeds
  • onion powder
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • kosher salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Spray a baking dish (9×9 or 9×13) with cooking spray.
  3. Slice the entire loaf of Hawaiian rolls in half.
  4. Toast the bottom buns in the prepared pan for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Spread mayonnaise on bottom buns if desired.
  6. Layer ham and cheese evenly over the bottom buns.
  7. Melt butter in a glass measuring cup and mix in poppy seeds, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Pour the butter mixture over the top buns evenly.
  9. Bake uncovered for 10 minutes; then cover with aluminum foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
  10. Let cool slightly before slicing into sliders.
