  • 0.250.5 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Toast walnuts in a skillet until fragrant, about 3–4 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a stand mixer, cream softened butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs one at a time.
  5. Stir in mashed bananas and buttermilk until just combined.
