  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 13×9-inch baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, confectioners' sugar, and salt. Cut in softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until lightly browned.
