- 1 pound dry navy beans
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 pounds diced chicken breast

- 1 cup diced green chilies
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 can corn (15.25 oz)
- 8 ounces cream cheese
Instructions
- Soak navy beans in water overnight; drain before use.
- In a slow cooker, combine soaked beans and chicken broth.
- Sauté chicken, garlic, onion, celery, green chilies, and spices in butter until cooked through.
- Transfer the sautéed mixture to the slow cooker; deglaze skillet with a bit of chicken broth and add to the slow cooker.
