  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk (lukewarm)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Place your popover pan on a baking sheet.
  2. In a blender, combine eggs, lukewarm milk, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add flour and blend again until well mixed. Finally, blend in melted butter until frothy.
  4. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove the hot pan from the oven, spray it with nonstick cooking spray, then pour in the batter to fill each well nearly to the top.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes without opening the oven door, then reduce heat to 350°F (177°C) for an additional 10 minutes until puffed and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven, pierce tops to release steam, and serve warm.
