  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Olive oil, for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Set up three shallow dishes: mix breadcrumbs with half of the Parmesan and Italian seasoning in one, beat eggs and milk in another, and place flour in the last.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook each chicken breast for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a baking dish.
  5. Combine the remaining Parmesan with mozzarella and garlic; top each chicken piece generously with this mixture.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
