Instructions

  2. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl.
  3. Cream softened butter and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  4. Gradually add beaten eggs on low speed; mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract, then alternate adding half of the milk and flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Transfer batter into the prepared loaf tin and bake for 60-65 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the tin before transferring to a cooling rack.
