Description

One-Pot Teriyaki Noodles is a quick and delicious vegetarian dish that brings together vibrant vegetables and chewy noodles in a savory homemade teriyaki sauce—all made in just one pot! Perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings, this recipe highlights simplicity without sacrificing flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ green cabbage, shredded
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ⅔ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 16 oz spaghetti (1 pound)
  • 3 ½ cups water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add olive oil, cabbage, and carrots; sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
  2. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, mustard, ginger, and garlic powder. Mix well.
  3. Add spaghetti to the pot (breaking in half is optional) along with the water.
  4. Cook uncovered for 15-18 minutes, stirring every few minutes to prevent sticking.
  5. Once noodles are cooked through, remove from heat and toss in sesame seeds for added crunch. Serve immediately.
