  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 25 Oreo cookies (broken into chunks for filling)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)
  • 4 tablespoons butter (for ganache)
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream (for ganache)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for ganache)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by crushing Oreos in a food processor and mixing with melted butter. Press into a springform pan and refrigerate.
  2. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  3. For the filling, beat softened cream cheese until smooth, add eggs one at a time, then mix in sugar and vanilla. Gently fold in broken Oreos.
  4. Pour the filling into the crust and bake for 60-70 minutes until set around the edges.
  5. For the ganache, heat butter and cream until simmering; pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
  6. Once cooled, pour ganache over cheesecake and refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
