  • 23 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons whipping cream (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together oil, brown sugar, white sugar; add eggs, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture; stir until just mixed.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before frosting.
