- 2 (8-oz) cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 (24-oz) container cottage cheese
- 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 lb mozzarella cheese slices
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook lasagna noodles until al dente.
- In a skillet, brown Italian sausage; drain excess fat. Add spaghetti and tomato sauces along with Italian seasoning; simmer for 5–10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, beaten egg, and parsley until smooth.
- In a greased baking dish, layer meat sauce, lasagna noodles, half of the cheese mixture, and mozzarella slices; repeat layers and finish with meat sauce and parmesan.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes until golden. Let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
