Description

Salt River Bars are the ultimate indulgence, perfectly blending sweet and salty flavors in a delightful layered dessert. Ingredients

  • 90 Club crackers
  • 1 cup salted butter
  • 2 cups light brown sugar
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • Maldon sea salt for finishing

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.
  2. Layer Club crackers on the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In a medium heavy-bottomed pan, melt butter, brown sugar, graham cracker crumbs, and heavy cream over medium heat. Bring to a boil and stir for about 7 minutes until bubbly.
  4. Pour half of the caramel mixture over the first layer of crackers, add another layer of crackers, then pour the remaining caramel mixture on top followed by one last layer of crackers.
  5. Refrigerate while preparing the chocolate topping.
  6. Melt milk chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  7. Spread melted chocolate over the final layer of crackers and sprinkle with Maldon sea salt.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before cutting into squares.
