Instructions

- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, then add water, sugar, salt, and corn syrup; stir until dissolved.
- Bring mixture to a boil without stirring; add toasted almonds when it reaches 235°F (113°C) and cook until it reaches 290°F (143°C).
- Pour mixture onto lined pan and let cool for five minutes before adding melted chocolate on top.
- Refrigerate for about 20 minutes until set; break into pieces.
