  • 750g chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • 2 onions, quartered
  • 3 tsp garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp ginger, minced
  • 250ml chicken stock
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 500g broccoli florets

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker by adding chicken chunks, onions, garlic, ginger, chicken stock, soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours.
  3. Mix cornstarch with water until smooth and stir into the slow cooker during the last half hour of cooking.
  4. Add broccoli florets and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve warm over rice or noodles.
