  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 1/2 cups salted pretzels
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. Crush the pretzels and mix with melted butter and sugar. Press into a casserole dish and bake for 10 minutes; let cool.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy, then fold in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.
  5. Mix sliced strawberries into cooled Jell-O and pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set (2-4 hours).
