- ½ lb ground pork
- 16 oz ricotta cheese
- 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 9 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and pork; cook until browned, then drain excess fat. Mix in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 30 minutes.
